The spontaneous bursting activities can be widely observed in many different experiments about the development of neuronal networks. One typical example is the periodical spontaneous bursting activity during development of the in-vitro cortical neuronal network from embryonic rat's brains observed through the MEA device. Currently, I am working on the simulation of this type of neuronal activities and, based on our simulations, try to understand the generation mechanism of what we have observed from experiments.
